made a motion to approve Resolution 2018-085 Ratifying the <br />Chair's Signature on the Local Agency Federal Aid Project <br />Prospectus for the University Way Bridge #88341 Repair Project. <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded the motion with discussion. Motion <br />passed. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT MONTHLY EQUIPMENT <br />RENTAL RATES IN FUND 501 <br />Mark Cook stated that in the 2015-2016 budget cycle Public Works <br />committed to evaluating the equipment rental rates and staff has <br />completed that task. Mark Cook continued that rates should be <br />adopted annually and would like to have the rates approved now <br />instead of waiting for the 2019 budget cycle. Mark Cook added <br />that the new rates will produce a savings of around $500,000 a <br />year to the maintenance fund and beginning June 1st, the road <br />crews can produce their time electronically for the first time. <br />Discussion was held. Chairman Osiadacz called for a motion. <br />Commissioner O'Brien made a motion to approve Resolution 2018- <br />086 to Adopt Monthly Rental Rates in Fund 501. Chairman <br />Osiadacz seconded the motion, commenting that she is pleased <br />with staff's efforts on this task. Motion passed. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br />FUND 108 POLICIES <br />Mark Cook stated that over the winter he worked with the Council <br />of Governments (COG) to review the process for awarding funds <br />for qualified projects through the Public Facilities Fund. Mark <br />Cook added that the process and policies were updated with COG's <br />approval and the information was discussed in a previous study <br />session with the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Mark <br />Cook continued that he did not receive any comments for changes <br />to the presented updates and is now asking for approval so the <br />applications can be sent out for solicitation. Discussion was <br />held. Chairman Osiadacz called for a motion. Commissioner <br />O'Brien made a motion to approve Resolution 2018-087 to Adopt <br />Council of Governments Fund 108 Policies.
