You are aware that Commissioner Osiadacz and Public Works Director Cook met <br />with your representatives touring your proposed twenty (20) acres for land swap on March 16, 2018. <br />It is our understanding that significant portions of the site are burdened by coal tailings. We also <br />understand that three (3) separate easements traverse the property in the location of what appears to <br />be the only buildable portion of the property. <br />Given our concerns for the health of our Public Works staff (coal tailings) and the recognition of the <br />severe impact to site use owing to the three (3) separate easements over the parcel, the Board of <br />County Commissioners declines your offer to land swap.
