<br />03/20/2018 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Projects and Assigning CRP Numbers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE - NONE <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING KCC TITLE 14 & TITLE 20 CDS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to set a Public Hearing to consider <br />amendments to Kittitas County Code Title 14 and Title 20. The amendments <br />would adopt Appendix C of the International Wildland-Urban Interface <br />Code, remove Sprinkler requirements for building permits submitted <br />before March 15, 2018, and remove a reference to schematics in an <br />application packet, to be held on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in <br />the Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 <br />West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA and to authorize the Clerk to publish said <br />notice. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. She explained that this was going to <br />clarify necessary changes that pertain to the WUI Code adopted by the <br />County. Chairman Osiadacz noted there has been a lot of discussion <br />recently and the Board has asked that Mr. Carlson expedite the process <br />of fixing the immediate issues the County is facing within that part of <br />the Code. <br /> <br />Pat Deneen, Citizen thanked the Board for quickly moving to adopt <br />Appendix C. He stated that it will fix a major part of the issue that <br />the building community is dealing with currently.
