WEIHL ROAD RID UPDATE <br />Mark Cook stated that staff continues to work on the Weihl Road <br />RID and most recently briefed the Board of County Commissioners <br />on the technique for which the Road Improvement District is to <br />be formulated. Mark Cook continued that staff had a forty <br />percent (40%-) design completed for the project, however, with <br />increasing work load felt it was necessary to draft a task order <br />with one of our on call consultants to finish the design. Mark <br />Cook added that this was budgeted for $41,000 and the scope of <br />work came back at around $46,000. Commissioner Jewell inquired <br />about legal review and discussion. Mark Cook replied that he <br />had not heard anything from legal about the formulation proposal <br />and will follow up. Discussion was held. <br />TWENTY (20) YEAR TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT UPDATE <br />Mark Cook commented that the Transportation Element was close to <br />being complete and a comment letter on the draft plan will be <br />sent to Fehr and Peers for review. Mark Cook continued that he <br />has some concerns regarding the financial portion of the plan <br />including the consideration of a motor vehicle gas tax. Mark <br />Cook added that he is hoping to have the plan complete by the <br />end of April and prior to the departure of Commissioner Jewell. <br />Discussion was held.
