BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2018 - <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSURE OF THE KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT <br />CENTER OFFICE ON MARCH 30, 2018 <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority, pursuant to RCW <br />36.16.100, to approve changes by resolution in the days and hours that County offices <br />shall be kept open for the transaction of business; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas Valley Event Center has requested the office be closed on March 30, 2018; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to allow the Kittitas Valley Event Center office staff to <br />attend the Washington State Fairs Association training; and <br />WHEREAS, Event Center operations not involving the office will be open for business as usual; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby authorizes a change in the hours of operations for the Kittitas County <br />Event Center Office, such that the office will be closed on March 30, 2018. <br />DATED this day of , 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
