3/12/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />MEMO REDLINE COUNTY CODE UPDATES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell updated the Board on a meeting he had with <br />Staff, as well as members of IT and CDS & DPW Directors about a <br />process to ensure County Code updates were done. He presented a memo <br />that outlines a new policy and asked that the Chair send it out to <br />the County Management Team. <br /> <br />The Board agreed and supported the memo being sent out. Chairman <br />Osiadacz indicated that she would send it out today. <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDERS ASPECT CONSULTING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell presented the Board 4 Contract Change Orders <br />from Aspect Consulting. Change No.: 11 for Project 150338-006-04 – <br />Kittitas County Groundwater Mitigation Permit Support in the amount <br />of $1,500.00; Change No.: 12 for Project 150338-007-04 – Kittitas <br />County Groundwater Mitigation Permit Support in the amount of <br />$3,900.00; Change No.: 13 for Project 150338 – Large Area Permit <br />Technical Assistance – in the amount of $14,900.00; Change No.: 14 <br />for Project 150338 – Papineau Water Right Transfer (No. S4-84509-J) <br />– in the amount of $8,900.00, and moved to approve them as <br />presented. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COMMUNITY BUILDERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner presented the Board a draft Professional Services <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and Community Builders. He <br />explained that this document is a result of a meeting the Board held <br />in January with Dawn Bass of Community Builders. He outlined the <br />numbers he came up with to allocate to them and stated that if the <br />Board is okay with it he will present it to Community Builders and <br />work with HopeSource to re-do the agreement with them to take out <br />the allowance they were given to award for Upper County youth <br />activities. The Board indicated that they were in support of the <br />document presented, and Commissioner Jewell stated he would begin <br />working with HopeSource and get it to Community Builders for their <br />review as well. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION IRON HORSE STATE PARK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien presented an e-mail from Washington State Parks <br />Planning President Randy Kline. He questioned if the Board would <br />like to send someone to the meeting in Monroe, Washington on <br />3/22/2018 to participate in the Iron Horse State Park Trail – <br />Renaming Effort /Trail Update – Report.
