BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTPTAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF AN INFORMATIONAL <br />KIOSK AT THE END OF COVE ROAD ON COUNTY RIGHT OF WAY FOR <br />THE MANASTASH RIDGE TRAILS <br />WHEREAS: The Manastash Ride Trails Planning Coalition seeks to install an <br />informational kiosk within County Right of Way at the end of Cove Road, <br />and <br />WHEREAS: The proposed location and design of the kiosk does not impede County <br />maintenance operations and is located and constructed in a manner that <br />preserves the safety of the traveling public; and <br />WHEREAS: In the interest of proving informational opportunities to recreationalists <br />utilizing the Manastash Ridge Trails system; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, authorize the placement of aux informational <br />kiosk at the end of Cove Road on County Right of Way as shown in <br />Attachment A. <br />DATED on this 12th day of March, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUN'T'Y <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WARRINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br />
