2/20/2018 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENT CHAMBER/KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Paul Jewell reviewed the changes in the Professional <br />Services Agreement with the Board noting they were primarily <br />surrounding the increase in surveying, SMS Marketing and paying for <br />travel only. He noted that there is an increase of $10,000.00 from <br />last year. Commissioner Jewell also indicated that the PSA had been <br />before the LTAC and they were in support of it. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize Board signature <br />on a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce beginning January 1, 2018 and <br />ending on December 31, 2018, not to exceed $206,960.00. Commissioner <br />Jewell seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:05 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session for 5 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an <br />applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a <br />public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion <br />by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of <br />employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in <br />a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to <br />take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual <br />employee or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an <br />employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting open to the <br />public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:10 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
