Explain. <br />Kittitas County staff will be responsible for the administration of this project. The design and <br />construction will be contracted out to private parties. The County staff does not have the expertise <br />to design the restroom facilities, therefore a consultant will be hired to prepare the necessary <br />documents. An experienced contractor in concrete block buildings will be hired through the <br />standard bidding practice for the construction of this facility. The maintenance of the facility <br />following completion will be done by Kittitas County with the assistance from Vantage residents. <br />2 of 8 Who is the current owner of the project property? <br />Kittitas County owns 4.2 acres and Grant County P.U.D. owns 5.7 acres. These agencies have <br />worked together to construct this facility for public use. <br />3 of 8 Does the applicant have title to the site? if yes, explain: <br />Kittitas County owns 4.2 acres of the Vantage Boat Launch property. <br />4 of 8 Does the applicant hold a lease on the property? lfyes, what date will it expire? <br />Authorization to construct and maintain a boat ramp within the properties under the control of <br />Grant County PUD was granted to Kittitas County by Permit No. 38 dated February 12, 1971. <br />8 of 8 Does the applicant have an easement or legal use agreement on the site that permits the proposed <br />use? if yes, when will it expire? Explain: <br />Permit No. 38 dated February 12, 1971 with Grant County P.U.D. to construct and maintain the <br />boat launch facility.
