2/12/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />LEASE SPOKC LEASE MORRIS SORENSON COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien provided and update to the Board on the <br />proposed lease with SPOKC for space at the Morris Sorenson Building. <br />He stated that they plan to provide insurance as requested by the <br />County. Commissioner Jewell indicated he still has concerns <br />regarding their request to make alterations to the proposed space; <br />concerns about their request for free rental space for the first few <br />months; concerns about the rent amount not being reflected in the <br />lease as proposed. He suggested that the lease be month to month and <br />that the water/power be added to utilities as well as grounds upkeep <br />expenses. Commissioner O’Brien stated he would further discuss the <br />concerns brought up today with SPOKC and bring forward a revised <br />document to reflect any new changes. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT MASTER TRUST WATER RIGHT AG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize Chair signature <br />on a Master Trust Water Right Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />the Washington State Department of Ecology as presented. <br />Commissioner Jewell seconded. Commissioner Jewell noted that this <br />will allow for back mitigation water banking and will make the <br />process simpler. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />WAIVER NOISE ORDINANCE – WYCKOFF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize a Noise <br />Ordinance Waiver request from Martha Wyckoff to host a private party <br />at 2831 Ley Road, Cle Elum, WA 98922 on August 4, 2018 until <br />midnight and directed Staff to notify Ms. Wyckoff, KITTCOM and the <br />KCSO. Commissioner Jewell seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />ACKNOWLEDGE CITY OF ELLENSBURG – TABB COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize Board signature on a letter <br />acknowledging the City of Ellensburg’s City Council recommendation <br />for Mayor Bruce Tabb to represent the City on the County Disability <br />Board (LEOFF), noting this corrected an appointment that took place <br />on 2/6/2018 of Councilmember Nancy Lilliquist to the Disability <br />Board. Commissioner Jewell seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS-N/A <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:58 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
