JANUARY 2, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien and Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning <br />Official; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; <br />Robin Read, Public Health Administrator; Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of <br />the Board; Debbie Myers, Board Clerk; Christopher Horner, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; and 2 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />NOMINATIONS FOR 2018 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell nominated Commissioner Osiadacz to serve as Chairman <br />of the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2018. <br />Commissioner O’Brien seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed. <br />A unanimous ballot was cast for Commissioner Osiadacz to serve as <br />Chairman for the year 2018. <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz asked for nominations to serve as Vice-Chairman of the <br />Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2018. Commissioner <br />Jewell nominated Commissioner O’Brien to serve as Vice-Chairman for <br />2018. Chairman Osiadacz seconded the nomination. Nominations were <br />closed.
