BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. -1SLI_ Lt O <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE MANUFACTURE AND SUPPLY OF <br />AGGREGATE FOR BITUMINOUS SURFACE TREATMENT FOR ONE (1) <br />CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on March 13, 2017, for the <br />Manufacture and Supply of Aggregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on March 30, 2017,at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of <br />Ellensburg Cement Products be accepted for the Manufacture and Supply of <br />Aggregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment for one (1) calendar year following <br />contract execution; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2017 Manufacture and Supply of Aggregate <br />for Bituminous Surface Treatment to Ellensburg Cement Products, upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 10th day of April, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Attest: <br />FI'Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <21� <br />Laura Osia acz, Vice -Chairman <br />El Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz f <br />I J/ / L' <br />y <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />OGS W4...... a <br />/ //////11111111 IIPO <br />
