KFFI'FIAS CO( IN l Y <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 10, 2017 (Study Session) <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Sign a Resolution Lo Delegate'fhe County Engineer <br />Authority To Legally Bind The Kittitas County Public <br />Works Department For The Purpose Of Requesting Federal <br />Transportation Project Reimbursement <br />BACKGROUND: Effective December 1, 2016 the Federal Highway <br />Administration changed the Code of Federal Regulations; 2 <br />CFR 200.415 (a) to ensure that final fiscal reports or <br />vouchers requesting payment under Federal agreements <br />include a certification, signed by an official who is <br />authorized to legally bind the non -Federal Agency.
