<br />11/21/2017 MINUTES 3 <br /> <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />At approximately 10:03 a.m. Chairman Jewell announced that the Board <br />would recess into Executive Session with Deputy Prosecutor Neil Caulkins <br />and Jill Scheffer, Event Center Director for 10 minutes to consider the <br />selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or <br />purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause <br />a likelihood of increased price. Potential action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:13 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize signature on a <br />Purchase & Sale Agreement in the amount of $205,000.00 for property <br />located at 809 N. Maple Street Ellensburg, WA. Chairman Jewell seconded. <br />The Board explained how the property was in the footprint of the <br />Fairgrounds Master Plan and funding would come out of the Real Estate <br />Excise Tax fund. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:14 a.m. Chairman <br />Jewell seconded.
