NOVEMBER 7, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Clay <br />Myers, Undersheriff; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Chris Horner, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; and approximately 13 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION FLOOD AWARENESS MONTH PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation declaring November <br />2017 as Flood Awareness Month in Kittitas County and encourage all <br />residents living, working or traveling through flood-prone areas to join <br />in developing a flood preparedness plan for themselves and their <br />families. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION BILL ALLISON COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Certificate of Appreciation to <br />Bill Allison for 15 years of dedicated service on the Kittitas County <br />Fair Board. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> <br />
