Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER KATHERINE P. FRANK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to ratify the Chairman’s signature on a <br />letter to Katherine P. Frank, Office of the Provost/Vice President <br />for Academic & Student Life CWU, responding to the MOU from CWU the <br />County received on 10-6-2017. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT EFSEC COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to appoint Ian Elliot as Kittitas <br />County’s Representative on the Energy Facility Site Evaluation <br />Council (EFSEC), to consider the application submitted by TUUSSO <br />Energy, LLC to operate a solar project (Columbia Solar) at different <br />locations in Kittitas County. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE SUSPICIOUS E-MAIL COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien informed the Board that during the Law & <br />Justice Meeting there was a discussion on the removal of the <br />Suspicious Email Button that IT developed and added to our Outlook <br />toolbar. He explained the concerns and the potential solutions to <br />remove the concerns. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz submitted documents and explained that she had <br />asked Mike Hougardy, Assessor; Dan Carlson, CDS Director to assist <br />in a conversation she had the week prior with Cari Dahl. She stated <br />that there was discussion over having to pay taxes on her parcel <br />prior to her selling it due to Open Space classification. <br /> <br />The Board indicated that this is not an issue the BoCC can get <br />involved in and the discussion needs to take place between Ms. Dahl <br />and the Assessor or even perhaps the Treasurer. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
