2017-09-21 MINUTES 2 <br />Ms. Strand stated that the County did not have adequate internal <br />controls to ensure compliance with Federal suspension and debarment <br />and reporting requirements. She noted that they were made aware of <br />turnover in the Finance and Engineering division and that Staff <br />training has been increased to ensure Contract compliance. <br /> <br /> <br />LETTER COUNTY/ST. AUDITORS OFFICE AUDITOR <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize the Chair to <br />sign a letter to the Washington State Auditor’s office, relating to <br />the audit of Kittitas County from January 1, 2016 through December <br />31, 2016. Chairman Jewell seconded.
