BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - I QU <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A <br />NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF A STEEL <br />MODULAR BRIDGE <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works received funding through FEMA for the <br />Ringer Loop alternative project for said procurement; and <br />WHEREAS: The specifications for the Design, Fabrication, Finishing, and Transporting <br />of a Steel Modular Bridge are complete; and <br />WHEREAS: Additional approval was received by FEMA to purchase a two piece 90 <br />foot modular bridge; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public <br />Works to prepare a Notice of Contractors for a call for bids. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Friday, <br />July 21, 2017 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North <br />Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud <br />after 10:00 am on Friday, July 21, 2017, in the Department of Public <br />Works, Ellensburg, Washington_ <br />DATED on this 26th day of June, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />`GouwrrlCo <br />7- <br />Co <br />C _ <br />`y • �kVof the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Jill <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />
