7/03/2017 MINUTES 2 <br />Farm (TVFF), LLP Water Right Purchase. Chairman Jewell seconded. <br />Motion carried 2-0. <br />RATIFY APA & PAW 2017 PLANNING AWARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to ratify Chairman Jewell’s signature on <br />the APA & PAW 2017 Planning Awards Program. Chairman Jewell <br />seconded. Chairman Jewell explained that due to the deadline the <br />letter needed to be signed prior to this meeting. Motion carried 2- <br />0. <br /> <br />REQUEST CELL PHONE BOOSTER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve the purchase of a Cellphone <br />Booster for the County Commissioners Office. Chairman Jewell <br />seconded. Chairman Jewell explained that since the BoCC is with AT&T <br />the reception is horrible in the office and he is finding more often <br />than not he has to make calls outside, this should correct that <br />problem and shouldn’t cost more than $300.00 according to IT. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz agreed that the reception is terrible and this <br />will be a great asset. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY LEGAL DESCRIPTION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell moved to ratify Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz’s <br />initials on the legal description for the land purchase offer made <br />on 6-29-2017. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. She stated that they <br />didn’t have a “formal” legal description on the day of signing and <br />this is to be included to the offer made on 6-29-2017. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis. They determined at the end of 2013 they <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS – N/A <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
