4/24/2017 MINUTES 2 <br />DISCUSSION SHADY BROOK WORK ORDER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell presented the Board with a Work Order from Just <br />Right Cleaning & Construction Inc., in the amount of $6,946.29. <br />Chairman Jewell was tasked with working with Accolade property <br />management to make sure accommodations are considered and made if <br />need be. <br /> <br />FOLLOW UP FACEBOOK - DISCUSSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz presented a handout outlining updates to <br />questions posed during the Special Meeting on 4/18/2017 at 1:00 p.m. <br />relating to BoCC Facebook Page. She reviewed the areas she was <br />tasked with follow up on and asked the Board for their <br />input/concerns. <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell stated how he felt not all proclamations need to be <br />posted on Facebook. He felt as proclamations come before the Board <br />they can decide during their Monday Morning Office Admin meetings if <br />any are to be posted for the week or not. <br /> <br />There were concerns expressed about everyone signing in under the <br />same log in. It was determined it would be necessary to have <br />multiple individual sign-ins for security purposes. There was <br />discussion on additional language to add to the Facebook page that <br />would provide a link to the County Website so that visitors could <br />find all other documents etc., that the BoCC posts. <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell provided a revised response to Facebook posts for <br />staff to respond with. “Thank you for your interest on this topic. <br />If you’d like to discuss this issue further, we’d be happy to talk <br />with you in person. Please contact our office by phone at <br />509.962.7508, or email us at bocc@co.kittitas.wa.us to schedule an <br />appointment with a Commissioner.” <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz was given approval to move forward with IT for <br />the setup of the page. <br /> <br />LETTER NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to authorize Board signature on a letter <br />to Karen Taylor-Goodrich, Superintendent North Cascades National <br />Park Service, regarding the Grizzly Bear Restoration Plan. <br />Commissioner O’Brien seconded.
