04/04/2017 MINUTES 2 <br />performance and use of the 2016 Community Development Block Grant <br />Public Service Grant Funds. <br /> <br />JOHN RAYMOND, REPRESENTING HOPESOURCE outlined their program and <br />services they provide to low-and moderate-income persons including <br />the expansion of Hope University education component. He indicated <br />there was a total of $84,503.00 grant funds available from the <br />Department of Commerce from June 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 and <br />of that amount $3,500.00 could be allocated for County <br />Administration costs. The Grant Application materials were available <br />at the Public Hearing and prior to it. Citizens were provided an <br />opportunity to comment on the past performance of HopeSource and the <br />use of their 2016 CDBG Public Services Grant funds. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-065 CDBG PUBLIC SERVICE FUNDS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-065 <br />Certifications of Compliance for the Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) Public Services Grant Only in the amount of $84,503.00 <br />and to authorize the Chair to sign the other application materials <br />to the Department of Commerce. CHAIRMAN JEWELL seconded.
