03/06/2017 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MARCH 6, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz & Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Kay Kresge, <br />Accountant; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Jerry Pettit, <br />Auditor. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD AUDITOR <br /> <br />Kay Kresge, Accountant reviewed documents for the Board to certify <br />the County’s Capital Assets. She explained that by the Board signing <br />the letter it represented their approval and certification under <br />oath that the attached listing of Capital Assets shown at cost value <br />as of 12.31.2016, including items added in 2015 and those disposed <br />in 2016. The total amount of Capital Assets for Kittitas County is <br />$233,149,702. She also noted that to be included are the Public <br />Works Road and Equipment Rental & Revolving increases of $2,236,087 <br />and decreases of $87,668 and the purchase of Shady Brook Mobile Home <br />Court, $1,452,711 which have not been entered into the Cayenta <br />system. <br /> <br />LETTER CAPITAL ASSETS AUDITOR <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize Board signature on a letter <br />to County Auditor Jerry Pettit certifying the County’s Capital <br />Assets. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Jerry Pettit, Auditor shared with the Board that there is interest <br />in putting a foot bridge in at the Naneum Pond. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />
