BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.: 2017- 0,5`.7 <br />IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING UPDATED WAGE RANGES FOR NON -REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County has established Personnel Policy (5-1) Wage Administration <br />which addresses the process by which wage ranges for regular non -represented <br />employees are evaluated and adjusted; and <br />WHEREAS: the Human Resource department completed a wage study in 2016 which <br />resulted in a significant amount of data for the Board of County Commissioners <br />to consider; and <br />WHEREAS: the Board of County Commissioners made it a priority to consider market <br />equity for 2017 with respect to wage ranges, and <br />WHEREAS: through work with HR and extensive efforts by each Department <br />Head/Elected Official the Board developed market-based wage adjustments <br />that would take effect 1/1/2017; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: this Resolution ratifies the attached wage ranges for non - <br />represented positions which were implemented as of 1/1/17. <br />v� <br />i <br />ADOPTED this day of March, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />❑ Clerk of tM Board, Julie Kjorsvribf <br />IQ Deputy Clerk Il, Mandy Buchholz <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />:)QNTY, WASHINGTON <br />n <br />Laura Osie, Vice-ChOirman <br />ie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />
