<br />02/21/2017 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENT INTERSTATE BATTERIES OF APPLE VALLEY SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Approve a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Calebs Hope LLC DBA: Interstate Batteries of Apple Valley, beginning <br />March 3, 2017 to provide recycling or disposal of Scrap Lead Acid <br />Batteries. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT L & S TIRE COMPANY SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Approve a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and L <br />& S Tire Company, beginning March 3, 2017 to provide recycling or <br />disposal of Scrap Tires. <br /> <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING NON-EXCLUSIVE IRRIGATION FRANCHISE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Approve Setting a Public Hearing to consider a Non-Exclusive Irrigation <br />Franchise with Zac Withers along Denmark Road, to be held on Tuesday <br />March 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, <br />Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA and to <br />authorize the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Lee Bates explained how he had previously asked the Board of County <br />Commissioners to consider adding an additional clause to their <br />Proclamation “Not in Our County” and to take a stand and make a public <br />declaration denouncing President Trump’s travel ban against immigrants. <br />He asked if the Board had come up with a response. Chairman Jewell said <br />they would consider it at their next Office Administration Meeting on <br />Monday February 27, 2017. <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />CLAIM FOR DAMAGES CLAYTON & DOROTHY SNYDER PROSECUTOR <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve payment in the amount of $618.45 <br />for a Claim for Damages filed by Clayton and Dorothy Snyder in the <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s office on December 29, 2016 as recommended by <br />the Prosecutors office. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to amend the motion to include payment upon <br />receipt of a Release of All Claims. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. <br />Motion approved 3-0. <br /> <br />Amended motion to approve payment in the amount of $618.45 conditioned <br />upon a Release of All Claims approved 3-0. <br />
