02/21/2017 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 21, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Kathy Jurgens, Finance <br />Systems Manager; Lucas Huck, Engineer; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director; and 2 members of the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING CDS FEE SCHEDULE CDS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing continued from <br />February 7, 2017 to consider adopting the 2017 Kittitas County <br />Community Development Services Fee Schedule. He noted the record was <br />closed. <br /> <br />DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR explained how they have submitted a <br />combined Staff Report with the Public Works Department. He said <br />they are continuing work on collecting data and requested the Board <br />of Commissioners continue the Public Hearing’s until March 7, 2017 <br />at 2:00 p.m. to allow addition time to gather information. <br /> <br />KATHY JURGENS, FINANCE SYSTEMS said they have been compiling <br />information from other departments and have reached out to other <br />jurisdictions for their information. Once they have obtained the <br />necessary information they will be combining it together onto a <br />spreadsheet for the Board’s consideration. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to continue the Public Hearing to <br />consider adopting the 2017 Kittitas County Community Development <br />Services Fee Schedule, to Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners Auditorium, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 <br />West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA. CHAIRMAN JEWELL seconded. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC WORKS FEE SCHEDULE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />The Public Hearing continued from February 7, 2017 to consider <br />adopting the 2017 Kittitas County Public Works Department Fee <br />Schedule was also continued with the above hearing until Tuesday <br />March 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, Room <br />109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA. <br />The record is closed. <br /> <br />
