On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis. They determined at the end of 2013 they <br />would review the various committees they participate in and provide <br />beneficial updates to the Board as needed during this time as well. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT SHADY BROOK LEASE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Chair signature <br />on a Lease Agreement for Lot 30 at the Shady Brook Mobile Home Park. <br />Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT McKINSTRY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Item removed and to be considered at another time. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION DISPOSAL BOX – FLAG PROGRAM COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz presented the Board with information that was <br />forwarded to her from County Coroner Nick Henderson. She stated that <br />the info., originally came from NACo and is regarding a new program <br />being introduced nationwide for flag disposal boxes. Commissioner <br />O’Brien moved to authorize the placement of boxes at the Courthouse, <br />Morris Sorenson Building and Upper Dist. Court. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Chairman Jewell stated he would be in support of <br />the boxes being placed in the locations. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />stated she would make the appropriate phone calls to get this <br />program brought to the County. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />MOU PARKS, RECREATION, TRAIL PLANNING DEV. COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz presented a DRAFT Memorandum of Understanding <br />Regarding Park, Recreation and Trail Planning Development and <br />Management within the boundaries of Kittitas County Park and <br />Recreation District No. 1 (KCPRD#1), the Cities of Cle Elum, South <br />Cle Elum, and Roslyn and Kittitas County in support of KCPRD#1 and <br />the Coal Mines Trail Commission with development and implementation <br />of the Kittitas County Park, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan <br />and the Coal Mines Trail Comprehensive Plan, for review. <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell moved to authorize Commissioner Osiadacz to sign the <br />MOU at the next Parks and Recreation Dist., meeting. Commissioner <br />O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS- <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell gave a brief update on current Legislative issues he <br />felt would be of interest to Kittitas County. <br />
