BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has adopted the "Yakima <br />Corridor Plan" and pian recommendations; and <br />WHEREAS: Abandonment of Ringer Loop Road is a high priority project contained in the <br />adopted plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Staff believes a design grant supporting design of abandonment options for <br />Ringer Loop Road will be favorably reviewed by the Salmon Recovery Funding <br />Board; and <br />WHEREAS: Watershed Science and Engineering is able to prepare the grant under a current <br />task order contract with Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: The Chairman's signature is required on the grant application; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Director's signature on the task order with <br />Watershed Science and Engineering preparing the grant for submittal; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners is <br />authorized to sign grant submittal documents. <br />DATED this 25th day of April, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Obie O'Brien, Chairman <br />Paul Jewell, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
