Amendment #1 <br />Contract No. K1611 between the Washington State Conservation Commission and Kittitas County <br />Project: Voluntary Stewardship Program Workplan Development <br />Amendment to Contract <br />1. This amendment (the "Amendment") is made and entered into by and between the Washington State <br />Conservation Commission, hereinafter referred to as "COMMISSION" and Kittitas County, hereinafter referred to <br />as "COUNTY", parties to the original contract dated December 7, 2015 (the "Contract"). <br />2. The Contract is amended as follows: the entire clause of the original contract entitled "PERIOD OF <br />PERFORMANCE" is replaced in its entirety by the following: <br />PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE <br />Subject to its other provisions, the period of performance of this Agreement shall commence on the <br />effective date of this agreement and be completed on June 30, 2017, unless either extended by agreement <br />of the parties or terminated sooner, as provided herein. <br />3. The Contract is further amended as follows: The entire clause of the original contract entitled "FUNDING <br />AVAILABLE" is replaced in its entirety by the following: <br />FUNDING AVAILABLE <br />Funding provided by legislative appropriation for the work herein will not exceed $270, 000. Payment for <br />satisfactory performance of the work accomplished under this Agreement shall not exceed this amount. <br />4. Except as set forth in this Amendment, the Agreement is unaffected and shall continue in full force and <br />effect in accordance with its terms. If there is conflict between this amendment and the Agreement or any earlier <br />amendment, the terms of this amendment will prevail. <br />5.
