DECEMBER 12, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board and one member of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending December 9, 2016. <br /> <br />FUNDING ASSESSMENT PROPERTY TAX REFORM COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell explained that the Special Assessment is a <br />onetime per County expense with a suggested amount of $3,000.00. He <br />explained that some Counties are participating and others are not. <br />He shared his support for Kittitas County’s participation. <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize a onetime payment of <br />$3,000.00 to WSAC regarding the Assessment for Property Tax Reform <br />Communications Funding. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Chairman <br />O’Brien expressed his support as did Commissioner Osiadacz, noting <br />that the funding would be coming from the General Fund. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY 1ST AMENDMENT TO WATER RIGHT PURCHASE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell explained that the Board previously authorized <br />his signature on November 28th, 2016 on a 1st Amendment to Water Right
