Cook <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Acknowledge Kathy Jurgen's Signature on Cayenta Change Order. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Auditor's office and Public Works are currently engaged in updating the <br />Cayenta accounting software. The Auditor's office is requesting a delay in <br />contract deliverables owing to workload issues in the office at this time. Public <br />Works supports the delay request. The request results in a zero value change <br />order to the contract. Cayenta prepared contract documents for Ms. Jurgen's <br />signature at our end and I directed her signature on change order documents. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Public Works has a defined change order process for all construction projects. <br />We do not have a defined change order process for professional service <br />contracts, and routinely send all change orders to the Board for authorization. <br />This zero value change order to the contract was administered at the staff level. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />None. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />PUBLIC WORKS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />
