In an effort to reduce both the cost of the Corps' repair and our proposed setback levee, <br />Reclamation is willing to provide the necessary easement and accept the spoil material from the <br />Corps' repair and allow it to be staged on site (Reclamation property). This reduces hauling and <br />disposal cost and Reclamation will likely be able to make use of this material when we construct <br />a setback levee of our own (currently planned for 2017 construction). <br />We would like to set up a time when Reclamation and CHUM can discuss this important matter <br />with you over the phone.
