KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 10, 2016 <br />Ratify the Chair's Signature on FEMA CRS reporting <br />documents <br />BACKGROUND: The County is enrolled in FEMA's CRS program. The <br />program provides flood insurance premium reductions for <br />qualified communities. Communities are required to <br />annually report activities consistent with maintaining <br />program accreditation. This year's report required <br />signature on the part of the Chair ahead of final report <br />preparation. Staff has subsequently completed the annual <br />report and it has been filed with FEMA. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Ratify the Chair's signature on FEMA CRS reporting <br />documents. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Exhibit 1: Copy of signed documents <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
