Attachment A <br />(Answers to questions) <br />Question 2 cont.: The roof replacement will allow continued operation of the Incubator <br />and lead to additional jobs within the county and region. <br />Question 11: Five businesses currently exist in the facility, this project will allow <br />continued use of the facility and provide opportunity for future start-up businesses as <br />the current tenants graduate from the facility/program. The Business Incubator facility <br />has five bays total, therefore the facility is currently at its business capacity. To date <br />over 25 businesses have occupied the facility through the years with several expanding <br />into their own locations and two were purchased by other companies. <br />Question 12: The give existing tenants generate a total of nine jobs. This information <br />was gathered through verbal conversation with the current tenants. One business has <br />four employees, one business has two employees and the other three businesses have <br />one employee each. Previous tenants like Wood Products NW and Iron Horse Brewery <br />had dozens of employees when they occupied the space. There is the potential for at <br />least two of the current businesses in the facility to increase the number of employees <br />within the next year. The total number of jobs created/retained will include many more <br />for the area than are currently located within the incubator facility as has been seen <br />through the expansion of businesses that have graduated from the facility. <br />
