11/01/2016 MINUTES 2 <br />BRETT WACHSMITH, TREASURER provided information on three <br />applications for the Resale for Tax Title Property applications. He <br />said there were a total of 6 parcels requesting to be purchased. He <br />previously spoke with the Public Works Department and they believed <br />the County has no vested interest in retaining the parcels. <br /> <br />He said there were two identical bids received for Parcel #411534 <br />from Gary Berndt and Casey Inman. <br /> <br />THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: VINCE FRASTO said he would like to bid <br />on property he had been notified about from the Treasurer’s office. <br />GARY BERNDT said he received a letter from the Treasurer and the <br />parcel he is interested in is directly adjacent to his home. THERE <br />BEING NO ONE ELSE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />SALE PARCEL NO. 351334, 371334, 381334 TREASURER <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to approve the Application for Resale of <br />Tax Title Property from John and Colleen Sullivan for Parcel No. <br />351334, 371334, and 381334, as presented. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ <br />seconded. COMMISSIONER JEWELL explained reasons why it was in the <br />best interest of the public to authorize the sale. Motion carried 3- <br />0. <br /> <br />SALE PARCEL NO. 032934 & 042934 TREASURER <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to deny the Application for Resale of Tax <br />Title Property from Gilbert Knotts; authorize the sale of Parcel No. <br />032934 & 042934; and direct the Treasurer to conduct an auction for <br />the sale to the highest bidder. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. COMMISSIONER JEWELL noted the auction was <br />appropriate for competing bids and the sale was in the best interest <br />of the public. <br /> <br />SALE PARCEL 411534 TREASURER <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to deny the two Applications for the <br />Resale of Tax Title Property from Gary Berndt and Casey Inman; <br />authorize the Sale of Parcel No. 411534; and direct the Treasurer to <br />conduct an auction for the sale to the highest bidder.
