COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Tuesday 2:00 PM October 11, 2016 <br />Board members present: Paul Jewell, Laura Osiadacz, Obie O'Brien <br />Others: Patti Johnson, Lisa Lawrence, Mickey Webb <br />REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />Meeting called to order at 2:00pm <br />Patti Johnson informed the Board that it was free turn in week <br />at the Ellensburg Transfer Station for city residents that are <br />Customers and that the City of Cle Elum's turn in is next week. <br />Discussion was held on the Cities contractual agreement with <br />Waste Management and that Roslyn does not have an agreement in <br />place with Waste Management. <br />Patti informed the Board that the Laggoon project at Ryegrass <br />has started and the completion date is set for December 30tH <br />Patti informed the Board that the Transfer Station Feasibility <br />Study to award contract to CH2M Hill will be on the next agenda. <br />Patti informed the Board that the new locks in the Courthouse <br />have been installed and she would be giving a presentation at <br />Management Team tomorrow. That the Maintenance Tech 1 job <br />posting closes Thursday. <br />Discussion was held on the sewer flood in the jail that the <br />float cracked and sunk. Further discussion included compliments <br />from the jail on maintenance staff. <br />Discussion was held on water heater issues in the Jail and that <br />intermittently it doesn't vent appropriately. Patti informed the <br />Board that McKinstry is looking at options on how to fix it. <br />Mickey Webb informed the Board that the Rodeo Arena would be <br />shut down in the next week or so to begin the winterizing <br />process. <br />
