Doc went through the list and quickly discussed each item. Commissioner <br />O'Brien requested an explanation of each item before he approves the list. There was discussion of each topic, in depth, <br />between staff and the Board. Doc stated he will expand further on each topic at a later date. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Executive Session: <br />At 2:48 p.m. Chairman O'Brien opened a Special Meeting and announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session <br />for 10 minutes per RCW42.30.140 (4)(a) Collective bargaining sessions with employee organizations, including contract <br />negotiations, grievance meetings, and discussions relating to the interpretation or application of a labor agreement; or (b) that <br />portion of a meeting during which the governing body is planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the <br />governing body during the course of any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation <br />proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress. No action was <br />anticipated. <br />At 2:58 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
