Mike gave a brief presentation regarding the Board of Appeals, <br />their purpose, and process. Commissioner O'Brien asked why the Board of Appeals is not functioning for other jurisdictions. <br />Mike stated most jurisdictions just do not like them. Mike stated the Board of Appeals is fair due process. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Advisory Group Update: <br />Angela gave an update on the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Groups. Angela stated they have had their first meeting and <br />have about 50 people participating. Angela gave a timeline for the next four meetings and gave an overview of what will be <br />involved in those meetings. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Shoreline Master Program Cultural Resource Options: <br />Angela stated the Shoreline Master Program went into effect late winter and an appeal was filed. Angela described the types <br />of options other counties have gone through when an appeal was filed. Angela stated there are three options and two data <br />sharing agreements and explained those. Angela recommended the online data sharing route and stated the next step is to <br />send a status report in early July and provide the list of settlement options that are being entertained. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Final Proposals for Docket due June 301h: <br />Doc reemphasized that requests for the Docket are due by June 30'h.
