BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSI, <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH JACOBS <br />ENGINEERING GROUP, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTABILITY SERVICES FOR THE <br />LODGE CREEK CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT VIA KACHESS ROAD <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN SAID AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works under Resolution No. 2016-059 declared a <br />local emergency supporting suspension of normal bidding and procurement <br />requirements to expedite replacement of the Lodge Creek Culvert at Via Kachess <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works under Resolution No. 2016-060 entered into a <br />contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. to provide immediate design and <br />support services; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. request <br />approval of a Professional Services Agreement not to exceed $5,000.00 to <br />facilitate additional constructability services for the Lodge Creek Culvert <br />Replacement Project at Via Kachess Road. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Department of Public Works to <br />enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group, <br />Inc. and authorize the Public Works Director to sign said Agreement. <br />DATED on this 23rd day of May, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />C{ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Obie O'Brien, Chairman <br />Paul Jewell, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
