Angela stated <br />BERK will present to staff and the Conference of Governments (COG). Angela stated she will be sending a map to the Board <br />on the land capacity analysis. Commissioner Jewell stated he would like BERK to present to the Board prior to the <br />presentation to COG. There was discussion on when the presentation could happen and whether or not BERK needed to <br />present in person. <br />Angela stated there is a formation of advisory groups. Angela stated there will be a meeting on June 2151 from 4 pm to 6 pm <br />for all interested parties. Angela gave a timeline of meetings and processes. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />2015 Building and Energy Codes: <br />Mike stated the three-year code cycle change will is this year and the County will be adopting the 2015 codes on July I" <br />Mike stated that Kittitas County is hosting the Energy Code class. Mike gave the Board and overview of the new Energy <br />Code. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Discussion ofAnneal Received: <br />Doc stated Angela received an appeal for the Shoreline Master Program. Angela stated the Yakama Nation sent the appeal <br />and explained what the appeal involved. Commissioner Jewell suggested staff recreate the decision that was made and get a <br />new data sharing agreement. There was discussion on a letter from Department of Ecology regarding recommendations and <br />mandatory changes to be used. <br />Board Direction: None. <br />Discussion of Process: <br />Doc stated there is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) in process that has been combined with a plat. Doc stated it would be <br />best if this PUD would be passed by resolution rather than by ordinance because the PUD can be finished before the plat is <br />done. There was discussion on the processes of PUDs , plats, and rezones. <br />Board Direction: Request a separate work session to sort this issue out. <br />Executive Session: <br />Executive session was called to order by Commissioner O'Brien at 2:26 pm. Five minutes was requested.
