SEPTEMBER 26, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell & Commissioner <br />Laura Osiadacz. Absent: Chairman Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board and one member of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Vice-Chairman Jewell opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending September 23, 2016. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION TRANSLATORS BOCC MEETINGS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board requested the Boards direction on <br />how to proceed with the certified translators. She stated that for <br />the past 3 Agenda sessions there has been no attendance or need for <br />them and the same situation as the with the County’s Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee. The Board directed Ms. Kjorsvik to <br />work on developing a policy pertaining to guidelines/timelines for <br />requesting translators, as well as cancel the current request for <br />the translators for the BoCC and the County’s Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee Meetings and directed her to send a <br />press release out announcing that the County is cancelling the <br />translators until they are requested again, noting that the County <br />will be working to develop a policy to address the requests in the <br />future. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ECONOMIC STUDY YBIP COMMISSIONERS
