KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STAFF REPORT <br />HEARING DATE: August S, 2016 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve an Interlocal Agreement with <br />Grant County PUD No. 2 for Shared Operation and <br />Maintenance Responsibilities for the Kittitas County <br />Boat Launch Facility at Vantage, Washington. <br />BACKGROUND: Grant County PUD No. 2 is the owner of record of <br />certain real property at Vantage, Washington. <br />Kittitas County and Grant County PUD No. 2 desire <br />to enter into said agreement to share operations and <br />maintenance responsibilities for the Kittitas County <br />Boat Launch Facility. Said agreement shall be for a <br />period of five (5) years from the date said agreement <br />is approved. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works, Prosecutors Office, Grant County PUD <br />#2; Kittitas County Sheriff's Office <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve chair signature on the Interlocal Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and Grant County PUD #2 <br />for shared operations and maintenance of the Kittitas <br />County Boat Launch Facility at Vantage, <br />Washington. <br />HANDLING: Return three (3) signed originals to Public Works to <br />obtain Grant County PUD No. 2 Agent Signature. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Interlocal Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director of Public Works <br />
