Curriculum Vitae-Sundaram Nataraja I 2o15 <br />o As the associate dean of the graduate school, managed the academic operations at 16 <br />campuses of the NAU system including the development and delivery of graduate programs <br />both onsite and online; management of faculty resources, learning resources, student <br />enrollment, and budget and financial planning <br />• Founded the Herald D. Buckingham Graduate School at NAU in 2008 <br />o Made 23 presentations to undergraduate seniors at NAU highlighting the various academic <br />programs offered at the NAU Graduate School and their potential for betterjob prospects; <br />and generated 81 graduate enrollments from the cohorts of graduating seniors in 2007.2008 <br />classes. Subsequently, founded the Graduate School upon identifying the appropriate <br />resources, i.e., physical facilities, office equipment, and required faculty; where there was no <br />such a prior graduate school at NAU <br />• Generated $24.5m through marketing extended/entrepreneurial programs (2003-2008) <br />o Developed and delivered custom programs to suit the needs of the business communities in <br />Rapid City, SD., in 2007-2008 <br />o Developed programs in cooperafion with industry partners. The courses were developed in <br />several academic disciplines ranging from customer relations management to leadership <br />o Marketed extended programs in the United States, Middle East region and in India <br />• Served a variety of nontraditional both non -degree and degree students in their life-long and <br />professional educational needs <br />o Developed and effective marketing plan through the use of variety of media and marketed <br />outreach and extended studies programs targeted for nontraditional students, corporate <br />employees, and government cadres on relevant topics such as conflict resolution, <br />leadership, team -building, understanding the code of conduct at workplace, etc. <br />o Catered to 7425 non -degree students interested in obtaining a degree qualification in the <br />long -run; 1690 degree students taking courses in the evening; and 5309 professionals in <br />need of advanced education, skills or training; and others interested in coursework for their <br />own enrichment during 2001-2006 <br />Formulated and implemented policies, provided support for graduate education, and maintained <br />compliance with university, state, federal regulations, and accreditation bodies including the Higher <br />Learning Commission (HLC) and regional accreditation bodies <br />o Created a repository of master syllabi for all the graduate courses <br />o Developed a matrix called "DLAM' - Degree level attributes matrix -indicating the level of <br />cognition and rigor in each level of academic program on the basis of Bloom's taxonomy <br />o Prepared the academic programs and faculty members for the peer review team visit by <br />HLC for maintaining the accreditation status at the academic programs <br />o Attained accreditation for Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business <br />Administration programs of the Skyline University College from the Commission for <br />Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the Ministry of Higher Education and Sdentific Research, <br />UAE <br />• Served as an advocate for the graduate school within the university and to the international affiliates <br />thorough the "Best of Both Wodds program <br />
