It has 24 colleges; 35,810 students; 5,182 faculty; 4,949 <br />admin staff; an annual budget of $gb, and endowment $2.8b.) <br />• Led the College of Business Administration (CBA) at King Saud University strategic planning process <br />in 2010 <br />o Developed six strategic thrust areas, 12 major goals, and 74 strategic objectives for Strategic <br />Plan 2011-2016 <br />o Implemented and evaluated several strategic initiatives at the college level upon the <br />completed development of the plan. Of the 13 strategic initiatives being implemented in <br />2013-2014, 11 achieved the targeted key performance indicators (KPIs) with the remaining <br />two being carried over for continuous improvement <br />• Developed, implemented, and managed a budget for the quality and institutional development unit. <br />o Prepared and managed an annual budget of $15.6m for the unit aiming to benefit 458 faculty <br />members and 8,600 students <br />• Obtained external support for scholarly and creative activities with a keen understanding of the broad <br />spectrum of academic research and scholarship (2012-2014) <br />o Secured grants and external resources worth $21.3m for improving programs and services <br />through annual gift -giving campaigns <br />o Founded a Chair for Family Business Studies with a philanthropic donation worth $7.8m <br />o Instituted a Flight Simulator to train pilots with a gift from an alumni worth $4.7m <br />o Began a Club for Entrepreneurship to expose students in business planning <br />• Established and reinforced commitment to shared govemance, including working closely and <br />collaboratively with both faculty and program administrators to fulfill the university- and college -level <br />mission, goals, and objectives <br />o Ensured that involved all stakeholders applied the best practices of higher education while <br />making meaningful decisions <br />o Focused on the role of stakeholders in academics to create the best value for students <br />o Provided administrative services related to all programs in the units an divisions including <br />student enrollment and registration, academic advising, career development, alumni affairs, <br />and facilities and equipment, fiscal and financial aid <br />• Acquired necessary resources and took proactive measures for high academic, professional <br />development, studerd success, and strategic planning standards befitting a distinguished premier <br />institution in the country <br />o Ensured the offering of quality programs consistent with the teaching, research and service <br />goals of the colleges parallel to the university mission. <br />o Provided facilities and resources to 458 faculty members for attendance and participation in <br />conferences, workshops, seminars, and other forms of scholarly and professional <br />development during the last three years <br />91 <br />
