JULY 5, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell <br />and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance <br />Manager; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Nick Henderson, Coroner; Neil Caulkins, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; Angela San Filippo, Staff Planner; Jacob Schroeder; <br />Legal Secretary; Ron Graham, Deputy Coroner; Bob Seelye, Deputy Coroner; <br />a Spanish Translator and approximately 25 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />Kasey Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor, introduced Joann Schaan as <br />their new DD Program Coordinator. <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />Mike Meyers, Regional Director of SiteLife presented a Shining Star <br />Award to Nick Henderson, Kittitas County Coroner, for his outstanding <br />support of the Cornea Donor program. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the Agenda, as presented. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien announced the Board would review each Consent Agenda
