She noted Willette’s Towing is donating their services <br />to transport the stage and they would be returning it to the Event <br />Center on July 5, 2016. Commissioner Jewell said he did not have any <br />issue with allowing them to obtain the stage earlier however, he <br />cautioned them that in the future if they intend on using it each <br />year it may not be available if there was a paying customer who <br />wanted to use it for a function. Commissioner Osiadacz suggested <br />that they apply for Hotel/Motel funds in the future and designate <br />those funds towards it. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve allowing the large Coke stage <br />to be picked up on Wednesday June 22, 2016, to be used for the <br />Pioneer Days celebration in Cle Elum, conditioned upon proof of <br />insurance and a signed contract with the Event Center prior to that <br />date. Commissioner Jewell seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis.
