He stated that Deputy Prosecutor Neil Caulkins <br />indicated that it was within the BoCC’s authority. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell directed Staff to request the County Prosecutors <br />office draft a Resolution for the Board to consider at an upcoming <br />Agenda allowing the County Auditor’s office to waive any interest <br />and fines for any late filings of the admissions tax, noting that <br />this would be a waiver until Monday, May 9, 2016. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />WAIVER CWU/RSVP COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize an exemption from the County <br />Admissions Tax for RSVP only. He stated that the waiver is not for <br />Central Washington University, noting that CWU applied on behalf of <br />RSVP due to how RSVP is set up under the University. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />WAIVER UPPER CO. SENIOR CENTER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize an exemption from the County <br />Admissions Tax for the Upper County Senior Center only. He stated <br />that the waiver is not for other groups planning to hold their event <br />in the Senior Center facility.
