2016-04-04 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 1:00 P.M. APRIL 4, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien-Joined at 1:45 p.m.); <br />Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell. (Commissioner Dist. 2 Seat – Vacant). <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Robin Read, <br />Public Health Administrator; Amy Kocher, Community Health Specialist <br />I; Kaitlyn Reddick, Fiscal Analyst; Bruce Tabb, Elmview; Kasey <br />Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor; Carole Miller Rhodes, Program <br />Director at EnTrust; Tom Gaulke, Chief Operations Officer-Entrust; <br />Daniel Ortega, Trellis; Sheri Powers, Elmview; Cheri Burry, Elmview <br />and Jackie Herum, MHDD Chair. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING DD UPDATE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 1:00 p.m. Vice-Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to <br />receive an update regarding DD Services. He stated that until <br />Chairman O’Brien arrives, it would not be an actual Special Meeting. <br />He stated that they could provide updates and go over anything they <br />wished to discuss but that no minutes would be taken until the <br />Chairman arrives. <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien arrived at 1:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Bruce Tabb, Elmview gave an overview of services that they offer. He <br />discussed the need for a Transit Coordinator and the importance of <br />transportation services in the County. Commissioner Jewell stressed <br />his support in having the County hire two of Elmview’s clients. He <br />felt the funding could be worked on by Public Health and that if <br />there are Union issues moving forward he will work with HR.
