03/07/2016 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 10:10 A.M. MARCH 7, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell & Commissioner Gary Berndt. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Lisa Murray, <br />Administrative Assistant. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD TREASURER <br /> <br />Lisa Murray, Administrative Assistant requested the Board’s <br />permission on behalf of the Treasurer to set a Public Hearing to <br />consider the sale of tax title properties: : #222934, 232934, <br />242934, 252934, 022934 & 012934. She stated that the Minimum bid <br />made with application $13,150.00. She also requested permission to <br />set a Public Hearing for tax title property #669433. <br /> <br />The Board authorized Ms. Murray to move forward and begin the Public <br />Hearing process. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS- <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:44 a.m. Chairman O’Brien announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications <br />of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance <br />of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), <br />discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other <br />conditions of employment to be generally applied within the agency <br />shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing <br />body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an <br />individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or <br />disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting <br />open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:54 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
