COMMISSIONERS’ MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />HR STUDY SESSION <br />approve the settlement agreement for ULP-PERC Case #131058-U-18. Commissioner Wright seconded <br />the motion. The motion was passed; 2:0 and the settlement agreement was signed. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION – FUNDING FOR PURCHASE OF FIRST AID/CPR/AED TRAINING EQUIPMENT FOR <br />IN-HOUSE TRAINING <br />Director Young presented a proposal from Fire Marshal Nicholson to provide first aid, CPR and AED <br />training services to County staff. The expenses outlined in the proposal would cover the cost of <br />purchasing necessary training equipment. Commissioner Osiadacz noted that EMS Coordinator Burrows <br />also provides first aid, CPR and AED training, and already has the necessary training equipment. Director <br />Young will get in touch with Coordinator Burrows to see if she is able to provide regular training to <br />County employees, or if she and Fire Marshal Nicholson can coordinate efforts including use of <br />equipment. She will bring the topic back to the Board if funding is still needed. The Board expressed <br />support in providing first aid, CPR and AED training to staff. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION 2019-059 CORRECTING A SCRIVENER’S <br />ERROR <br />Director Young requested that the Board approve Resolution 2019-063 to amend Resolution 2019-059 <br />which references an incorrect Resolution number. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve <br />Resolution 2019-063 to correct the Scrivener’s error in Resolution 2019-059. Commissioner Wright <br />seconded the motion. Motion was passed 2:0 and Resolution 2019-063 was signed by the Board. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Commissioner Wright inquired about the progress of the HR services survey that was sent to <br />Department Heads and Elected Officials. Director Young advised that the survey is now closed.
