Cook <br />RECOhOvMNDATION: <br />Acknowledge the assistance of Washington State Department of Transportation Bridge <br />Work (WSDOTBW) group assisting county forces repair four county bridges. <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />- WSDOTBW is offering assistance repairing four damaged county bridges <br />• WSDOTBW staff will oversee County forces repair of four bridges <br />• The estimated cost of assistance is $4,400 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In 2013, Kittitas County entered into a `Bridge Work Master Agreeme t" with WSDOT. <br />Over the past several years, state bridge repair Crews have occasionally worked on <br />County owned bridges. 'The master agreement allows for individual task orders to be <br />negotiated by the County. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />WSDOTBW annual work programs are getting congested with WSDOT work_ The <br />current task order proposal is to staff the repairs with a supervisor from WSDOTBW and <br />have county forces perform the repairs.
